 This was the Grocery store.  We spent a lot of time filling up these weights and then dumping them out again

 The room full of noodles.  Thye hung the styrofoam (sp?) swim noodles from the ceiling so it was a maze through the whole room.  I must admit we did loose him a couple of times, opps

Last but not least our crazy kid on the slide. He was going extreme, his shorts where very slippery on the tin slide so his picked up more speed than the other kids. There was a couple times he lost control and ended up going backwards or sideways but instead of being scared, it only encouraged him to get crazier.  We were at this slide for a while too.

Here is a couple pics of Gavin and I being silly.  We are trying to teach him to give kisses, but he has his own ideas.  We are teaching him to count but loves to say "one, two.......ONE!" its cute but we are wondering if we will ever get to three.  Also he loves to play peek a boo too, very cute.

Oktoberfest

Well we did it, we braved 100+ degrees and packed up and went to Oktoberfest in Tempe.  Between the heat, juggling gavin, beers and food, we unfortunately didn't get many pics in.  Gavin was too small for all the rides this year except for the merry-go-round.  Gavin got upset when he saw a motorcycle ride and couldn't get on it, he did try very hard to get on it though:)  Next year will hopefully go better and be cooler.

nap time

So we knew this day was coming, we had been thinking about transitioning Gavin out of his crib but just thought it was too early and hadn't quite made up our minds as to what kind of bed we want to put him in.  Today I put him down for his nap in his crib upstairs and then I laid down on the couch downstairs and fell asleep (I know, rough life).  Usually Gavin wakes up plays in his crib and then starts yelling when he is ready to get out of his crib.  Today I was awoke from my nap on the couch to him patting me on the face, opps!  Smart little kid managed to climb out of his crib and come downstairs to find me.  Guess we need to start looking into a bed for this kid there is no sense in keeping him in a crib he is climbing out of, add it to the list.

Splash Pads

Here are some pics from the splash pads we have been to lately, minus the one of Gavin eating a fortune cookie! It has been warmer than usual this time of year, ugh!!! So we have been trying to get Gavin outside, splash pads entertain him and the dog, so it saves us a trip outside. I think the warmer it stays outside the more frusterated I get and turn down the A/C inside, I guess september's bill just might be up there with July's energy bill.....opps:) I think after this weekend we are headed for low 100's and down from there, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

This time I have no excuse for why i'm not getting pictures up in a timely matter, haha. I do think though that this potty training has interfered with picture taking. Up until this week he has been buck naked all the time, except for when we leave the house of course! Its hard to get decent pics with the birthday suit getting in the way all the time. Potty training is going better but Gavin is still not there yet, a work in progress I guess. Hopefully when we get to the point of him in clothes then i can post more pictures. Thats the game plan so far:)
