Xmas activities

I heard they were going to haul in some snow for one of the xmas festivities in the valley, I guess so did everyone else in Phoenix too:(  We headed out the Glendale area to view all the xmas lights they put up over the holidays, it was pretty but SUPER crowded.  The line for the snow, to see and play in the snow, by the time we found the end of it the person at the end had already been waiting over 40 mins.  Um no thanks, so we bought Gavin a glow stick, let him run around and then headed home.  We will have to head up to Flagstaff and see snow later after xmas.

We baked xmas cookies the other day.  Gavin loved using the cookie cutters, he likes the christmas tree one, a lot (we have a lot of xmas tree gingerbread cookies this year). Gavin also got to do all the sprinkles for the cookies as well.

We headed out to zoolights the other night before Matthew headed back to Texas, Gavin LOVED it!

xmas preview

We attempted to get our family xmas pictures done, this is always easier said than done.  We try to do them around sunset so its hard to get two happy kids on a timeline, haha:)

tis the season to falalalala!

Gandpa and Grandma Jacobs rolled into town over Thanksgiving weekend along with Matthew.  They are here for the whole winter this year, which makes everyone very excited.  We got out the tree and Matthew and Gavin decorated it, while AJ and I did the lights.  Gavin of course started an obession with the red bells and hung them all next to each other.  Its really cute.  We also hit up zoo lights too more pics to follow
