Botanical Gardens

We went to the botanical gardens today. It was really cool except for the fact there was cactus everywhere and little boys don't know how to stay away from sharp objects. Gavin did well we just had to carry him most of the time:)
Gavin rolling in the dirt, literally:(
Had to post this one, just too cute!!!

Playing with uncle

Getting a ride with uncle...... due to Gavin's refusal of being strapped down in his stroller.

Xmas

Loving his gifts from his auntie, she always knows what to get him:)
A little tidbit, Gavin's sweater was actually his Dad's when he was little........its an antique (ha ha!!)

Favorite things to do.......stand on top of all the gifts. The more gifts he could stack the bigger he smiled

Gavin loved the wrapping paper.

Carrying around his new gifts

Hanging out with uncle

Puppies

Gavin has another dog to play with while my parents are out for the month. This is the best pic I could get of the three of them.

Thankyou Nece!!!

We got our xmas gifts from Aunt Nece today in the mail. Gavin loved the gifts with all the colorful wrapping paper, so did the dogs. We got some pics and video of it-Thanks again Nece we will enjoy making cookies with our new gear. Sorry don't have the time to figure out how to flip the video.

Here are some pics from Gavin at the mall today, if you look close enough you can see his tongue sticking out in the last one, it usually means he is "concentrating" its really cute:) We also got Gavin to visit Santa today, I need to scan the pictures in but to sum it up- Gavin did NOT like Santa. I'll post it when I get time.

Gavin is getting very brave these days. We went xmas shopping today and took a break to let Gavin play with the other kids. He is starting to try to attempt the slides by himself now, he is not quite coordinated enough and makes us nervous as you can see in the video.

Its cold outside

Here is Gavin having fun going in and out of the dog door, it continues to be entertaining (to us)

We have my parents dog with us for the month. Gavin now has two dogs to feed and play with. He loves their leashes. Two leashes are always better than one.

Here is Gavin playing on the bar stoole. We thought this was an okay thing for him to do, except for last night it fell on top of his hand. His hand swelled up and he immediatly got a huge round raised knot on the top of his hand. He also screamed his head off. We were going to take him to get xrays but half way there he started smiling and using both hands to try to get his shoes off, needless to say i think we will wait until his Dr. appt thursday to get it checked on.

We had a little cold snap (about 55 degrees, ha ha I know) Gavin still wanted to go in/out of the dog door. He likes to smush his face against the window too, its cute.

Holiday parade

We went to the holiday light parade last night in downtown phoenix. The temp was 55 when it started and 48 when we got back to the car. Gavin was running around like crazy until the parade started then he was zoned out on all the lights taking it all in.

One year checkup

Today was Gavin's one year check up, everything went well except for well......he still has an ear infection. We changed ABX and will follow up in 2 weeks to see how he is doing. So that stinks, he also didn't get his one year shots because of the cold/congestion/ear infection, so we will try to update those next time we go in. One the plus side we were able to get his H1N1 booster shot on tuesday, he was due end of nov for his second dose but we couldn't locate one for him, so now he has had both his seasonal flu and H1N1 booster shots, fingers crossed we don't have to deal with the flu this year.
He stats for today were 30 inches (48%), weight 19 lbs and 9 oz (6%), our baby isn't so little anymore..........:) Have a great rest of the week!
