Here are some of Gavin's new words, I was kinda blanking out on what to have him say but you get the idea, its nice to be able to some what communicate with this 18 month old....since temper tantrums are right around the corner, YUCK!

Gavin got a cell phone!!?? well not really. We were cleaning out boxes and ran across an old box full of old cell phones that we saved for backup in those "just in case you drop your phone in a toliet" moments. So instead of throwing them Gavin now has new toys to play with. He loves them and walks around "talking on them"........adorable:)

18 month checkup

Gavin had his 18 month checkup and it went pretty good considering Gavin has decided he no longer wants anything to do with Dr's or nurses, haha:) It was challenging to get him to do anything. He wouldn't cooperate for the big kid scale so we had to resort to the baby scale in which it was all I could do to keep him still so it could register. I couldn't even tell you how much he weighed in at. Then as soon as the doctor walked into the room, Gavin wanted nothing to do with him. When he had to check out his ears, it was all down hill from there. So we are happy to report that Gavins tubes in his ears are looking great and he is somewhere around the 2oth percentile for weight and height (thats the highest he has ever been!!!) I couldn't really hear specifics over Gavin's wailing but all in all he checked out great and we don't have to go back until he hits the big 2 year mark. Hopefully by then this "phase" will be over:)
