RED!

Gavin headed in the Dr. this week to get his cast changed out to a smaller one below the elbow.  He did really really well, the biggest problem we ran into was trying to contain Kaylee from wanting to be in the middle of everything, typical.  We have been talking colors all week and Gavin has gone back and forth between all of them but decided on red the morning of the appt and stuck with it.  He will have it on for two more weeks and then hopefully all done!!  So far he has done fantastic with everything, fully cooperative, and very little temper tantrums.  He is guilty of taking some swings at Kaylee with it, but to him it is a very effective way of keeping his sister in line with sharing.  He also is pretty good at cleaning out the treasure chest when he gets to pick a prize at the doctor's office too, he has to be reminded to only take one thing:)

Getting the old soft cast cut off
checking out his new straight (very swollen) pointer finger
checking out colors to choose from
 Getting casted
a little blurry but you can see him showing off his muscles.  This was how we got him to keep his arm angled to get the cast on correctly.
More reward time, a bath in the sink (his new favorite) and ice cream at the same time.
We have also been pretty easy on bedtime, he has been up later with us a lot more often while Kaylee is sleeping.  Gavin loves this!!!
