The Ryan Rundown: Kaylee Ann @ 14 months

Random post but I feel Kaylee has changed a lot in the past few months. Kaylee can now say

Dada

Momma

Puppy

Baba (for bottle)

*we are starting to get some please and thankyou's but they don't sound much like the real thing yet!

These words all of course only happening when she chooses, communication is still tough for this little one and she reverts back to high pitch screaming and crying more than we would like....but its starting to come together which is amazing to watch her figure out:)

Kaylee continues to either light it up with smiles, cooing and big blue eyes or cry it out hard with loud cries and full on tantrums throwing herself down on the (hard tile) floor. Like I said before its gonna be a process for this little one. Her patience level has not quite made it up to par with her expectation level so as always that makes for some good temper tantrums.

She is eating everything in sight. In fact if you let her she would probably eat all day long, little bit by little bit. She is finally out (besides some dresses and sleepers) of all 9 month clothes and fully into 12 month clothes. What you dress Kaylee in depends on her mood but she does prefer dresses or just going naked works too! Kaylee is a really good milk drinker and water drinker but doesn't care too much for Juice. Gavin loves juice so hopefully we can balance the two out. Sippys are working out well, cups with straws are her favorite. Or basically whatever Gavin is drinking out of Kaylee pretty much throws herself at. You gotta give her major props for her wicked determination.

The hair, well since miss I-know-what-I-like-now has become boss it's pretty much all over the place. The top is still pretty short the back is long enough for a pony so hopefully someday it will all meet up:) Kaylee pretty much has let me put headbands on her since day one, but has now decided they are more fun to take off and throw then keep on. Sad day for me:(. Her hair is too fine for clips, she also wont tolerate them either so we are just rocking the crazy hair look now. No one really realizes besides, most everyone is staring at her gorgeous baby blues instead.

Teeth;

Kaylee has all four on top front, the bottom two and her back teeth are starting to poke through on top. Kaylee is showing a lot more distress in the teething dept than Gavin ever did. She likes to have her paci's to ease the pain. Her fav is the frozen paci's, we usually keep 2-3 chillin at all times to make life easier around here.

Sleeping

As always happy to report this one loves her zzz's. She continues to sleep through the night and sometimes will surprise us with an 8:30-9am wake up call. Mostly though she and Gav wake up between 7-8. Kaylee will go down for an afternoon nap 1-3 hours depending on the day and her mood.
