Three

Oh my, when did THIS happen??
Our little lady just turned three years old. We celebrated accordingly with LOTS of cake and ice cream and multiple attempts of blowing out candles.
Kaylee loved every minuet of it:)

This three year old little lady is off to a great start.  Talking up a storm, I mean really, really, talking in full sentences and using phrases that her 5 year old brother uses.  Its crazy to think how much she learns from just being around him!  Kaylee still loves and idolizes he big bro, but she has figured out how to push his buttons as well.  She likes to push him to the edge and then she starts crying when he finally reacts, little stinker.  For the most part these two spend a lot of time together and can get along pretty good considering she isn't trying to wreck what he is building.  Little sister loves to be in the middle of it all.

Kaylee loves her one on one time with mommy and daddy.  She still loves to be picked up and carried, pretty much everywhere.  She has her father around her little finger when it comes to this.

Kaylee still must have as much input into whatever situation she is in, when she feels like it.  She has started refusing to wear dresses, shorts, skirts....she will only wear pants (we live in phx!!).  She feels like she should have the option to drink juice 24/7, and gets mad when her only two options before bed are milk or water.  Kaylee also gets pretty fired up when Gavin doesn't share with her but then she refuses to share with him in return.  Please and thank you's are hard to come by when she isn't feeling it, ha!  Bed time and getting dressed in the morning can be tricky if she isn't into it,  we end up playing lots of games and redirecting her attention to get the tasks done. She continues to be our little spirited one, but by now we expect it.  Its really amazing how much she is putting things together and developing her own opinions without anyone's guidance.  This girl is going places and no one will be stopping her,
thank-you-very-much!

Stats for Kaylee @ 3 years old
Weight; 23.2 lbs which is < 3rd%
(pedi says "she is trending on her own scale)
I thought, "imagine that our child on her terms...haha:)
Height
35.5 inches which is 24 %
She is doing pretty well in height,
we have recently put away her 2T clothes in favor of 3T

Kaylee is still a pretty good eater, when she feels like it.  She does prefer to eat fruit snacks for all 3 meals but when she is hungry she will eat.  She also will try most everything.  She loves carbs (like all kids) but also down well with fruit and veggies.  Salads are usually a fav of hers as well as sweets.  She does have a pretty big sweet tooth.  Kaylee is almost potty trained, I say almost because we have been out of diapers since sept but accidents are still more frequent that she (and we) would like.  Kaylee gets so busy and so tuned into things that she forgets "other things" and then realizes she had an accident after the fact:(
Still have not cut Kaylee's hair.  Its growing but at a very, very slow pace.  When she allows it, I can get her done up really cute, but she has to be on board with it, otherwise its not happening.

We have started Kaylee is a cute little community ballet class with her friend Kai.  These two are so stinking cute, it amazes me.  Kaylee does well listening and even participates with mom so she is definitely growing and putting herself out there more.
