Mankato visit

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay with friends for our Mankato leg of the trip home.  It was good for the kiddos to be able to keep some what of a routine while we were shuttling them back and forth trying to see all our family and friends while we were home.  Gavin got to play with Gabe and Heidi's dog Dakota, he loved playing with the kids....much more interactive than our dog Riley.

Here are some pictures from AJ's mom side of the family,  Gavin and Kaylee have lots of cousins to play with.  This probably the first time all of us have been together with all the kiddo's too.

We were lucky enough to fit in some great friend time this trip back home.  Marla and the boys made the trip over from South Dakota to meet up with us.  Mason and Gavin hadn't seen eachother since Gavin was a little baby, they are about 6 months apart. This time they were acutally able to play together, and fight over toys:)  Kaylee and Cooper are a little over a month apart, they both had their hands in eachother's faces the whole time they were rolling around on the floor.  Everyone had a blast and hopefully we can get together again soon.

Gavin got his own seat for the first time on the airplane ride home.  He of course got the window seat by default and loved every min. of it.  He loved it so much he forgot to take his nap, the whole reason we booked our flight at noon, opps!

8 week check

Kaylee had her 8 week check at the doctor today.  Overall it went well, we think Kaylee's crabbiness and spitting up is due to possible reflux.  Every attempt I've made to modify my diet has not worked so we are starting her on reflux meds to see if that gives her some relief.  Otherwise she is a happy healthy baby.  She weighed in at 8 lbs and 14 oz. Lenghth is 22 inches.  The medical assistant said that puts her in the 9th percentile for weight and 38th percentile for height. Its crazy to see her so far up on the growth chart I almost do not believe it, ha!
