Gavin woke up with a running nose and totally stuffed up, poor baby:(  So out went the plans of going to the gym and taking the dog for a long walk, it is only 58 degrees here.....haha.  We have stayed inside read books watched choochoo trains and colored.  He has figured out how to make some pretty artistic pictures using all four colors at the same time, amusing I must say.

Here is a couple pics of Gavin watching toy story, haha.  He is sooo going to hate me someday for this.  He has no pants on because he had an accident and we ran out of clean underwear, they are all currently in the wash.  All I have to say is its pretty cute:)

Happy Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there.  I hope it was filled with lots and lots of food:)  AJ and Gavin spent the day together hanging out and eating, while I got to work.....boohiss.  But you can't complain about holiday pay, plus there is always a plate of leftovers in the fridge when I get home.  The rest of the night is all about getting laundry done and getting Gavin to bed at a reasonable time, good luck to me because AJ is asleep he has to work at 2am!!!! yuck:(

two year check

Gavin got his two year check today with the pediatrician.  As usual he wanted nothing to do with it, but handled it better today than usual, if that makes any sense.  Or maybe as the parent I'm getting use to having the child that screams and cries at the doctor's office??  The doctor remarked that he hadn't seen us in a while since Gavin got his ear tubes the doctor visits have been few and far between, YES!  Gavin's weight was 27lbs, 38th percentile and height in now up in the 66th percentile.  So just as we thought he is growing like a weed! He took his shots like a trooper, as usual the office staff gets nervous when he holds his breath for so long when he is getting ready to scream but he recovered pretty quickly and the cherry sucker he got after it was all over helped too:)

Gavin's bday went by faster than expected, it always does.  He had a blast at ChuckEcheese, so many things to do.......we did spend a lot of time on a certain "choo choo train ride"  believe it or not:)  This year Gavin opened all his presents but piece of paper by piece of paper, no tearing them apart.  He also decided to just eat the frosting off his cake and then crumble it up and say "all done"  He is obsessed with the thomas the train pieces he got for his bday, they went to the bath with him, to bed with him last night and are sitting next to him this morning as he eats breakfast.

 Gavin just woke up from his nap, trying to figure out what this thing with a big bow is, haha

 Loved it after he got to go outside and roam free, still too small for the pedals but that doesn't stop him

HaPpY BiRtHdAy!

Today out little baby boy turns two!!!!  Its crazy to think about, but fun to celebrate.  Plans for the day.......Gavin finally getting to open those presents he has been staring at for the past week, and oh yea he actually gets to play with the presents his mom and dad forgot to wrap up and he found, little stinker!  Other than that just hang out and party at ChuckECheese tonight!!!  Should be interesting as we all have not been there in years, haha:) Pictures to follow, sooner than later I hope.

Halloween

So finally getting around to posting those hallooween pictures. We had a good time, and Gavin got to hang out with the kiddies before we headed out trick or treating with everyone.  The weather was again pretty warm but cooled down at night.
