once again better late than never.  Here are some pics from our xmas morning, mostly the choo choo train that Gavin has been obsessed with ever since..

Weekend getaway

We headed up to Flag for the weekend, mostly with the intent to do something different.  Gavin got to see snow for the first time.  He had a blast, putting his face in it. He thought making snowballs was hilarious too.  There wasn't too much snow left but enough to keep him occupied, we were bummed the sledding area was already closed:(.  We also entertained him at the pool at the hotel where he was jumping in and out of the pool and hot tub.  We took him to the train station and got to see the trains pass by.  It was a great weekend but I think both AJ and I were exhausted by the time we got home on sunday.

This is about the only new pic taken of Gavin in the past how many weeks??!! Bad parents:(  We have spent the past few weeks passing this flu/nasty headcold between all of us; Gavin, AJ and finally me.  We still have the left over cough and congestion but overall everyone is starting to look healthy around here.  After laying around and being able to do nothing we are realizing how much needs to get done around here.  Hopefully today brings some motivation.

Poor Riley, has spent a lot of time looking out the window as trips outside have been few and far between lately. 

down with the sickness.....well kind of

It all started wednesday with Gavin running a high temp, fast foreward to today and well not a lot has changed. Gavin does well when his temp is down but gets crabby and tearful when it goes back up so it has been a lot of ups and downs depending on our tylenol/motrin schedual.  AJ hasnt been feeling the greatest either but can't get a break from work till next week so he is working through it:(  We are hoping this viral thingy breaks soon so we can get back to normal.  Fingers crossed I don't get it, so far so good.

better late than never

Here are some ultrasound pics from our last ultrasound on dec 23rd.  Still are not the best quality but you get the idea.  Baby girl is doing well just really, really small (big surprise there). Another ultrasound in a week or two and then go from there.  They did manage to get some 3D images of her face, cute but kinda alien like too!

haha thought I'd throw this one in for kicks.  Yes it still looks like AJ needs to repaint the blue room for this girl:)
